Indiana recently launched a new NIL endeavor. That endeavor also happens to involve a notable Hoosier alum in Dallas Mavericks owner and businessman Mark Cuban.
The move includes an agreement between Indiana and Campus Ink, an apparel company work in officially licensed collegiate gear. According to Dustin Dopirak with the Bloomington Herald-Times, Indiana did not realize Cuban’s involvement as an investor until the program became interested in partnering with Campus Ink.
“We are always looking to be on the forefront of NIL issues, this is the most basic NIL opportunity, and Campus Ink is an innovative leader in this area,” IU senior associate athletic director and spokesman Jeremy Gray told the Herald-Times via email. ” Obviously, (Cuban’s) involvement is a bonus!”

“I’m really excited that the leading NIL company, Campus Ink, and the best university on the planet, my alma mater, Indiana University, are working together,” Cuban said via an announcement from Campus Ink. “The sky is the limit!”
