The defense of Indiana is under the great direction of redshirt junior linebacker Cam Jones, who is one of the most consistent tacklers in college football.

Jones has made the most tackles without a miss among power five defenders. Jones leads the team in total tackles accounting for with 19 as well as accounted for 8 solo tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss, 1 pass breakup, and 1 fumble recovery in two games this season.

In his five seasons at Indiana, Jones has accumulated 169 total tackles, 110 solo tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 9 pass breakups, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 forced fumbles.

Jones was a three-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class. He has also rated the 79th best athlete and the 32nd best prospect from the state of Tennessee, according to 247Sports Composite.

Indiana faces Western Kentucky in its quest to remain undefeated on Saturday. The Hoosiers are off to a 2-0 start with conference play starting on Oct. 1 against Nebraska.

Tom Allen will be hoping for consistency from Jones as the season is still in its early stages.
