Indiana soccer fell to No. 3 Syracuse on penalty kicks in the 2022 College Cup Monday evening. The No. 13 Hoosiers took the Orange to sudden death and fell in heartbreaking fashion.
Someone at Assembly Hall in Bloomington must not have gotten the memo. The screen flashed a premature congratulations following the loss.

The Hoosiers finished the year 14-4-7, having beaten Saint Louis, Manhattan, UNC Greensboro and Pitt to face off against Syracuse, who took home their first ever title with the win over the Hoosiers.
Still, what a season for the Hoosiers.
