Tom Allen quietly pieced together one of the best recruiting classes Indiana has ever had.
Wednesday, the Hoosiers added another 4-star talent to their class, as in-state linebacker Cameron Williams inked with Indiana. He became the third 4-star commitment to sign with IU in the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Indiana’s 2019 class cracked into the top 40 nationally and is No. 10 in the B1G.

Williams is a Merrillville, Indiana native and is listed as the No. 5 player in his home state. He’s also the No. 16 linebacker in 2019 and is just outside the top 300 overall.
Williams is the third-highest rated recruit to join Indiana’s group. Running back Sampson James and defensive end Beau Robbins are the top two talents in the class, according to 247Sports.
Indiana’s 2019 recruiting class probably won’t get much recognition nationally, but this is one of the top classes the Hoosiers have signed. Cracking into the top 40 is a huge deal in Bloomington.
There’s plenty of reason for Allen and Co. to celebrate this recruiting class.
