Indiana is on the board first in its Big Ten clash with Washington.
The Huskies appeared to have some early momentum. IU went 3 and out on its first drive of the game, taking 1:20 off the clock. UW got the ball back for its second posession and was driving. The Huskies had gained 39 yards on 8 plays before the first big play of the game.
Hoosier DB D’Angelo Ponds intercepted a pass behind the line of scrimmage. He had nothing but green in front of him for a 67-yard touchdown.

Before throwing the pick, Washington’s Will Rogers was 4-of-4 passing for 46 yards. Entering UW’s 4th possession, he’s 5-of-6 for 50 yards. The Indiana offense has yet to find success, turning the ball over on downs after the initial 3 and out. Tayven Jackson, filling in for the injured Kurtis Rourke, i 2-of-4 for 20 yards.
While the pick-6 was a big play that had the crowd going wild, the Hoosiers will hope to get the offense going to put some points on the board. The score is still 7-0 Indiana late in the 1st quarter. The game is airing on the Big Ten Network.
