Indiana is off and running against Michigan!

So far, the first quarter of Saturday’s Top-25 matchup has been all Hoosiers. The Wolverines started the game with the ball, but a quick 3-and-out forced a punt to Indiana.

After that, quarterback Michael Penix Jr. led the Hoosiers down the field with a steady drive. He capped the drive off with a beautiful strike to Miles Marshall.

The throw was perfect, but it was the catch by Marshall that was especially impressive. He was simply too big and strong for the Wolverine defender to prevent the game-opening touchdown.

After watching Michigan’s secondary get victimized by Michigan State’s receivers last weekend, it will be interesting to see if the Hoosiers follow a similar gameplan. So far, that appears to be the case.
