Randy Moss was a great college player. He was an even better pro.
He was tall, athletic, fast, a great route runner, you name it. Moss was incredible. Just look at any team that he’s played for.
He put up big numbers no matter where he was. No matter the system.

His playing days have come to an end, though, but so Moss has made the transition to the television side of things. Moss now talks about football for a living and each week, he has a segment on ESPN called “You got Mossed!”
The segment is based on wide receivers jumping up over defenders and making spectacular catches — as Moss did routinely.
On Sunday morning, Indiana wide receiver Donovan Hale made a play against Northwestern that earned him a spot on the segment:

This catch was great, as Hale jumped over the defender, made the catch and kept the ball in his hands throughout the process while having the ball right by the defender’s helmet.
It seemed like it should have been a difficult and awkward catch, but Hale made it look fairly easy. That’s what the great ones do: make difficult things look easy.
