Tom Allen has focused on recruiting the state of Indiana since taking over in Bloomington, and on Friday, the Hoosiers added another in-state prospect to the 2020 class.

Indianapolis wide receiver David Baker gave his verbal pledge to Indiana, becoming the 11th member of the class. The three-star receiver is the fourth-highest ranked prospect to give a commitment to the Hoosiers.

Baker made his announcement on Twitter.

“I have decided that for the next 4 years I will be attending Indiana University,” Baker wrote on Twitter.

According to 247Sports, Baker is the No. 6 player out of Indiana, the highest-rated in-state product to join Indiana’s class so far. At 6-foot-2, 196 pounds, he’s also considered one of the top 200 receivers this cycle.

Baker is fifth player from Indiana to commit. He’s the second wide receiver, joining four-star Michigan product Rashawn Williams.

Indiana now owns the nation’s 55th ranked recruiting class in the 2020 cycle. It sits 11th in the B1G.
