This isn’t the first time Ellis has dealt with ankle problems. He missed the first 3 games of 2020 with the injury. Now, he’s going to have surgery to fix the issue.
Ellis has 3 rushing attempts for 12 yards this season. Last year, he ran for 61 yards on 16 attempts and had 11 receptions for 137 yards.
Indiana is 2-3 this season and is coming off a bye week. The Hoosiers are back in action in Week 7 against Michigan State at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Kickoff for that game is set for noon ET on FS1.
