Mike Epstein will not be playing Saturday night, but he is still going all out to cheer on his teammates!

Saturday night is the B1G opener for Illinois, and the Illini will be taking on Nebraska under the lights in Champaign! Slowing down Scott Frost’s Cornhuskers will not be an easy task. Led by quarterback Adrian Martinez, it is bound to be a tough and exciting matchup!

Unfortunately, Epstein is out for the season after a knee injury he suffered back in Week 1. But just because he cannot play does not mean he will not be cheering on his teammates!

He shared a photo to Twitter Saturday afternoon, and he is still suiting up for the primetime showdown. Despite a big brace on his knee, Epstein is decked out in his Illini uniform, helmet, and even has on his gloves.

Hopefully, the team is able to feed off of the good vibes from Epstein:
