Injury update on Illinois DE Oluwole Betiku

One of the best defensive linemen in the B1G will miss the remainder of Saturday’s Wisconsin-Illinois games.
Midway through Saturday’s contest, Illinois issued an update on Oluwole Betiku, saying the defensive end would miss the remainder of the game with an injury. The issue was undisclosed in a tweet from Illini Stats & Notes.
Betiku had accumulated 10.5 tackles for loss for the first six games of the season for the Illini, tied for the best mark in the B1G. He’s also collected seven sacks during those games.
DE Oluwole Betiku is out for the remainder of the game with an injury.

Betiku has totaled 27 tackles on the season, as well.
Illinois is 2-4 on the season and is still searching for its first B1G victory of the season.
