Insane INT by Justin Walley sets up go-ahead TD for Minnesota

Justin Walley just provided what might be the play of the night for Minnesota, and it flipped the momentum in a huge way for the Gophers.

Wisconsin started the second half with the ball and faced a quick 3rd down play vs. Minnesota’s defense. Quarterback Graham Mertz looked toward Kendric Pryor and put up a pass that Pryor was able to get his hands on.

Walley was also able to elevate while the ball was in the air, and he snatched it away from Pryor in the process. Both players came down with hands on the ball but the officials ruled that Walley had gained enough of possession for the interception.

Ky Thomas punched in a short touchdown on the ensuing possession to give Minnesota a 13-10 lead in the battle for the Axe:
