Iowa plays in the Big Ten. And, while the B1G isn’t known for high-flying offenses and loads of passing yards, there are teams and players that go against that logic.
Without getting into specifics, Iowa has played numerous passing offenses with talented pass-catchers. But, this postseason, Iowa plays USC in the Holiday Bowl. The game will kickoff at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 27 in San Diego, California. It will be televised on FS1.

Ahead of the game, on Tuesday, Iowa defensive coordinator Phil Parker spoke about USC and its wide receivers:
Phil Parker says USC has best group of receivers Iowa has faced this season

That’s some lofty praise from Parker. That said, it’s certainly more safe to talk up your opponent rather than talk about how the B1G opponents he’s seen to this point are far superior.
Regardless, USC is in the Holiday Bowl for a reason. It has talent and Iowa will have to defend the Trojans’ top receivers all night long.
The game against two programs with plenty of history should be a good one Friday night.
