Iowa has dealt with injuries this season as well, with an important one taking place at quarterback. Cade McNamara suffered an ACL tear and is out for the remainder of the season. The good news is that McNamara plans to be back for next season.
Deacon Hill has taken over at starting QB since the injury and Iowa is 8-2 heading into Week 12.
Shannon should be welcomed with open arms at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday by Iowa fans. Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
Grant Bricker covers the B1G for Saturday Tradition. His previous stops include the Williamson Homepage and Nashville Post.
