Iowa kicker Keith Duncan has been a critical part of the Hawkeyes’ success this season, and now he’s being recognized for his efforts. And in a big way.

On Monday, it was announced that Duncan is one of three finalists for the Lou Groza Award, presented to the best kicker in college football. The other two finalists are Georgia’s Rodrigo Blankenship and Washington State’s Blake Mazza.

Duncan has attempted more field goals than any other kicker in college football this season, called into action 32 times this season. He’s also knocked home 27 of those attempts, also the most in the sport.

His 84.4 conversion rate ranks 26th nationally.

Duncan has knocked down four field goals in three different games this season (Iowa State, Purdue, Illinois). The Hawkeyes are 3-0 in those games. He’s also 22-of-22 on extra point attempts.
