Iowa lands commitment from Patriot League transfer TE

Iowa has added a tight end via the NCAA transfer portal. Steven Stilianos, out of Lafayette College in the Patriot League, announced his pledge to the Hawkeyes via Twitter.

The Patriot League was one of the conferences to hold seasons in spring and fall of 2021 due to COVID-19 in 2020. Stilianos earned All-Patriot League First-Team recognition both seasons.
In the fall, Stilianos played in 4 games and finished third on the team with 21 receptions for 130 yards. His Lafayette bio also notes he was a key to the running game, as the Leopards averaged only 81.6 rushing yards per game without him and 128.8 with him in the lineup. In the spring, Stilianos logged 9 catches for 125 yards and 4 TDs.
