Iowa and Northwestern have rescheduled their game that was called off on Wednesday because of COVID-19 cases within the Northwestern program.
It’s now set for Jan. 31. The Tuesday night game will tip off at 8:38 p.m. CT, with a broadcast on Big Ten Network.
Before the postponement, Northwestern used an 8-man rotation in recent games and dropped back-to-back matchups against Rutgers and Michigan after a 3-1 start in B1G play. Meanwhile, the Hawkeyes are one of the hottest teams in the conference, as they have 4 straight wins after riding a 3-game losing streak.
This game has special significance for the Hawkeyes.
The previously scheduled Northwestern game was also “Chris Street Remembrance Day” to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Hawkeye legend’s death. The Big Ten Network honored Street’s life and impact in its documentary series “The B1G Story.”
The rescheduled date is the 30th anniversary of Iowa’s first home game since Street’s passing in 1993 against Michigan. The Hawkeyes won that game 88-80.
The Northwestern men’s basketball game at Iowa that was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 18 will now be played at 8 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Jan. 31 in Iowa City. The game will air on BTN.https://t.co/qA17TLwgpB

Just previewed @BigTenNetwork’s B1G Story: Chris Street
Will tug at every emotion.
Personally want to thank this guy, Matt Engel, who put in countless hours the last 6+ months into this must-see documentary on Street’s impact and legacy.
