A key midweek clash on the B1G basketball schedule is reportedly in jeopardy of getting postponed. This time, it is not COVID-19 cases that are impacting the chances of the game getting played.
Iowa reporter Chad Leistikow with the Des Moines Register and Iowa City Press-Citizen initially reported that Wednesday’s game between Iowa and Ohio State was postponed due to a winter storm. Ohio State reporter Griffin Strom with Eleven Warriors reported that the game is still on for now, but that Iowa was experiencing mechanical issues with the team plane. A postponement could follow if that issue forces a long delay.

As of right now, Ohio State-Iowa is still on for tomorrow night, according to the Ohio State program. Iowa is having a “mechanical issue” with its plane. However, weather issues could play a factor if the issue takes a long time to solve.
