Josh Volk is looking for a new college football opportunity.
After 3 seasons at Iowa, Volk will be entering the NCAA transfer portal. He made the announcement Tuesday on social media.
Thank you to the Univ of Iowa.

Volk, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was rated 3-stars and the No. 5 recruit in the state on the 247Sports Composite. He committed to Kirk Ferentz’s program in March 2019 and signed with the Hawkeyes over scholarship offers from Iowa State and Nebraska.
Things did not work out for Volk during his time with the Hawkeyes. He is not currently listed on Iowa’s 2022-23 online roster.
A previous online bio roster listing for Volk notes that in the 2021 season, he saw action in Iowa’s 30-7 win over Kent State and played on special teams in the team’s loss to Purdue. Volk did not play in 2020, taking a redshirt.
