An Iowa offensive lineman is looking to play elsewhere after 4 seasons with Kirk Ferentz’s program.
Justin Britt announced Friday that he has entered the NCAA transfer portal as a graduate.
I’ve officially entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer. I want to thank Iowa football for an amazing time. Can’t wait to see where the next chapter begins.

Britt signed with Iowa as part of the Hawkeyes’ 2019 recruiting class. Out of Warren Central in Indianapolis, Britt was a 3-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite with 11 scholarship offers.
At Iowa, Britt made 16 appearances from 2019-to-2021, taking a redshirt in 2019. The 2020 season does not count against Britt’s NCAA eligibility due to the circumstances of the season during the COVID-19 pandemic. Britt made 3 starts for the Hawkeyes, all coming in 2021. He missed the 2022 season due to injury.
