Despite suffering back-to-back losses to Penn State and Michigan State, there’s not much concern that Iowa will have trouble with Illinois this weekend.
The Hawkeyes are three-touchdown favorites against the Illini at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday. Iowa enters the matchup with a 3-2 mark while Illinois sits at 2-2. Neither team has won a B1G game yet.

Iowa has lost a few nail-biters the last two weeks. Two weeks ago, Penn State needed a last second touchdown to knock off the Hawkeyes at Kinnick Stadium. Last Saturday, they fell to Michigan State in East Lansing by a touchdown.
Illinois is also coming off back-to-back losses, but the Illini’s defeats have been a little more lopsided, falling by three touchdowns to USF and Nebraska.
Saturday’s game is scheduled is schedule for noon.
