This one is kind of one-sided, isn’t it? Iowa football leads Minnesota 31-0 with more than half of the 2nd quarter still to be played.
The word “domination” doesn’t begin to describe Iowa’s start. Minnesota has 1 yard of total offense. Mark Gronowski is playing as well as he has all year, and already found the end zone with a passing and rushing touchdown. And even if Gronowski was playing poorly, the Hawkeyes are scoring on defense and on specials teams, too.
Zach Lutmer stepped in front of a Drake Lindsey pass and took it the distance to give Iowa a 17-0 lead.
Following a Gronowski touchdown, Iowa just kept piling on. The Hawkeyes defense forced another Minnesota punt, which was also returned the distance for a touchdown. For those keeping score, Iowa has scored offensive, defensive and special teams touchdowns against Minnesota in the first 20 minutes of the game.

Folks, keep something in mind here; this is not a terrible Minnesota football team. The Golden Gophers are 5-2 on the year and beat No. 25 Nebraska last week. Even still, the Hawkeyes are absolutely embarrassing Minnesota through the first 20 minutes or so.
It seems safe to say the Floyd of Rosedale will be staying in Iowa City.
