All eyes will be on Iowa vs. Iowa State this weekend. The No. 9 team vs. the No. 10 team. The CyHawk game. College GameDay will be in town.
So Iowa State is going with… black and white uniforms?
That’s what the Cyclones’ equipment team tweeted Wednesday morning ahead of Saturday’s game in Ames.

Black jerseys, white pants and white helmets will be the look for Matt Campbell’s squad. It’s different from the usual red helmets and red jerseys they usually wear at Jack Trice Stadium. The combination is certainly an interesting choice, especially considering Iowa’s primary colors are black and yellow.
Iowa State and Iowa will square off in the annual CyHawk game on Sept. 11 at 3:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
