Iowa will enter Saturday’s game against Minnesota as the favorite, according to Vegas.
The Hawkeyes are tabbed as an eight-point favorite heading into the battle for Floyd of Rosedale. Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press tweeted out the line on Sunday night.
#Hawkeyes open as an 8-point favorite over #Gophers in Saturday’s battle for Floyd of Rosedale in Iowa City. They each are 4-3, 1-3 #B1G.

Both Iowa and Minnesota are 4-3 on the season but are just 1-3 on the season. A rivalry game win would certainly give a little more meaning to the season for either team.
Iowa lost a 17-10 overtime to Northwestern last weekend while Minnesota knocked off Illinois 24-17.
Minnesota owns the all-time series with Iowa, leading 62-46-2, but the Hawkeyes have dominated the head-to-head bout recently. Iowa has won 12 of the last 16 meetings, including the last two. Last year, Kirk Ferentz and Co. knocked off the Gophers 14-7 in a low-scoring affair.
Saturday’s game between Minnesota and Iowa is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. kick.
