Iowa women’s basketball is heading into the Sweet 16, rolling through the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament in style.
Across big wins over Southeast Louisiana and Georgia, Caitlin Clark averaged 24 points, 12 assists, 5 rebounds and shot 7-for-16 from 3-point range. The Hawkeyes also had the added benefit of playing at home in Iowa City but will branch out for the Sweet 16.
The next matchup for Iowa comes Friday night when the Hawkeyes face No. 6 seed, Colorado. Most recently, the Buffaloes needed overtime to get past Duke 61-53 in the Round of 32.
Late Monday night, the broadcast details for the Sweet 16 were announced. Iowa’s game will tip off at 7:30 pm ET (6:30 pm CT) on ESPN. That game will be played in Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington as the tournament moves to regional hosts.
