Iowa didn’t find the end zone too frequently on Saturday night against Penn State, but when it did, the Hawkeyes scored in exciting fashion.

Late in the game, with Iowa trailing 17-6 late in the fourth quarter, Nate Stanley heaved a pass deep down the field for Brandon Smith. The receiver was able to make a leaping grab over a Penn State defender to get into the end zone and pull the Hawkeyes to within a score.

The touchdown was the fourth of the season for Smith.

The touchdown wasn’t enough to get the win, as Penn State hung on for a 17-12 victory, but it’s still a play that will be played over and over again on the highlight reel this weekend.
