Iowa junior defensive back Josh Jackson has been named the winner of the 2017 Jack Tatum Award, which is presented annually by the Touchdown Club of Columbus to college football’s top defensive back.
Jackson has been key to Iowa’s 22nd-ranked scoring defense, recording 47 tackles, seven interceptions and 18 pass break ups.

Iowa went 6-5 this season, including a dominating win over Ohio State, and await its bowl game assignment.
