84-20.

That’s the combined score of the Penn State-Pitt series over the last two seasons. The Nittany Lions have had no trouble with their in-state rivals, posting victories in both contests. Former PSU defensive back Amani Oruwariye expects more of the same this week.

Oruwariye made the comment on Twitter, based off a question posted by Big Ten Network. Earlier this week, BTN tweeted out “Will the 100th all-time meeting be another blowout?”

Oruwariye responded with “Is water wet?”

This is exactly the reason why we all love college football.

Saturday’s matchup between the in-state rivals not only marks the 100th meeting, it will be the last in a four-game home-and-home series between the two programs. There is currently no future scheduled matchups on the schedule for the regular season.

Penn State leads the all-time series 52-43-4. The Nittany Lions crushed the Panthers last season, posting a 51-6 road victory.
