The Nittany Lions shut out the Indiana Hoosiers,24-0. While the Hawkeyes defeated Maryland Friday night 51-14. With all the upsets Saturday, both teams are expected to move up, which may sit up a top-five matchup.
Many expect the Hawkeyes to possibly move up to as high as No. 3 in the country and the Nittany Lions to be No. 5. Not bad for a conference who many thought might be dead in the water after Ohio State lost earlier this season.
Speaking of the Buckeyes, they should also move back into the top 10 after their 52-13 victory over Rutgers. As of now, the Big Ten is in a great position to send at least one team to the College Football playoffs and perhaps more if things continue to fall their way.
