It’s Corn: Cy-Hawk Trophy sings hilarious song for in-state rivalry

The Cy-Hawk Trophy took part in the trend of signing the viral corn song.

A child was recorded talking about corn and the interview was later turned into a viral song on TikTok and the entire internet. Since corn is synonymous with the state of Iowa, the Cy-Hawk Trophy got in on the trend and was recorded signing along to the song.

The video that was produced by HeavensFX on Twitter, showed the Cy-Hawk family signing the song. It fit in with the original video and the trophy characters were talking and having a conversation about corn.

The winner of Iowa-Iowa State will hoist the Cy-Hawk Trophy and this year, the trophy has more meaning. Not only are both teams looking to stay undefeated, but a rendition of the “It’s Corn” song could break out after the game.

Iowa pulled out a 7-3 win over South Dakota State in Week 1. On the other hand, Iowa State leveled Southeastern Missouri in Week 1. There will be a lot in the line in this in-state rivalry game.

Iowa will welcome Iowa State into Kinnick Stadium at 4 p.m. ET.
