Rob Phinisee’s game-winning three-pointer to push Indiana past Butler on Saturday will likely go down as one of the best shots of the college basketball season.

It really doesn’t get much better than a nailing a long three-ball against a rival opponent to win the game.

After the buzzer-beater, Phinisee was asked about the significance of the shot and whether it was the biggest of his career. The Indiana freshman responded perfectly.

“Yeah, so far,” Phinisee responded.

Phinisee is just 11 games deep into his college career and has already recorded a signature moment for the program. Clearly, he has plans to hit even bigger shots down the road. That has to make Hoosier fans grin from ear to ear.

The freshman guard also said that the Hoosiers were actually trying to get the ball to Romeo Langford — another star freshman for Indiana — but Butler completely denied him the opportunity. That’s when Phinisee shifted over and threw up the shot with time winding down.

Here’s Phinisee’s full interview after drilling the game-winner. Indiana is now 9-2 on the season.
