It’s hard to believe that when J.J. Watt first uploaded a video urging people to donate to victims of Hurricane Harvey that the goal was simply at $200,000.

That initial mark was hit quickly and Watt has continued to set new goals every few hours, it seems. Now, donations have surpassed $14 millions dollars with no signs of slowing down. And all of that has been collected in less than a week.

Watt first launched the fundraising campaign on Aug. 27 with this video, which went viral shortly after being posted:

Watt confirmed that donations have surpassed $14 million with a Twitter post on Friday morning.

It’s simply incredible the reach and impact that Watt has made in such a short time. Watt also said that trucks full of supplies are being loaded and are expected to begin deliveries this weekend.

Hurricane Harvey has severely impacted the Houston area and has been tabbed as the worst natural disaster in United States history. It’s estimated that damage caused by the storm will exceed $165 billion.
