After back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons to start his career, J.K. Dobbins took things to another level as a junior.
Serving as a leader for Ohio State’s offense, Dobbins rushed for over 2,000 yards while scoring 21 rushing touchdowns and averaging 6.7 yards per carry. He finished sixth in voting for the Heisman Trophy this season.
Unfortunately, Dobbins and the Buckeyes came up short in the Fiesta Bowl against Clemson. That ended their season short of a national championship, but it was a special year for the entire team.

On Monday, Dobbins made the tough but expected decision to forego his senior year of eligibility. He will enter the 2020 NFL Draft after the first 2,000-yard season in Ohio State history:

For his career, Dobbins finishes with 4,459 yards rushing, 38 rushing touchdowns, and over 5,100 total yards of offense. He scored 43 total touchdowns in his career.
Though Dobbins is a tough loss for the 2020 Buckeyes, the team will return redshirt freshman Master Teague who backed up Dobbins all season long. Teague rushed for 789 yards and averaged over five yards a carry this season.
Congratulations to Dobbins for wrapping up a remarkable career with the Buckeyes! Best of luck to the talented running back as he heads to the NFL.
