J.T. Barrett became the B1G’s all-time leader in touchdown passes during Ohio State’s game against Penn State on Saturday afternoon.

In the second quarter in Columbus, Barrett found Terry McLaurin in the end zone for his first touchdown pass of the game and the 91st of his career. Entering Saturday’s game, he was tied with former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees.

Earlier this year, Barrett broke Brees’ record for most career total touchdowns in the B1G.

The touchdown pass was the 22nd of the season for Barrett, who already owns more than two dozen Ohio State records. Before the bout with Penn State, the Buckeyes quarterback had just one interception on the season.

Barrett’s 91st touchdown pass was another major accomplishment for one of the most decorated quarterbacks in B1G football history.
