J.T. Barrett became the B1G’s all-time touchdown leader a few weeks ago against Army, and now the longtime Ohio State starter owns another record.
During Saturday night’s game against Rutgers, Barrett surpassed Art Schlichter as Ohio State’s all-time leading passer, reaching 7,549 career yards. Schlichter’s record of 7,547 was set in 1981. The Buckeyes’ quarterback also became the first player to account for over 10,000 yards of total offense during a career.
