Jim Harbaugh has already received plenty of praise for being one of the best developmental coaches in college football today. And if you’re doubting that, one former Michigan star would like to have a word with you.

Jabrill Peppers was one of the most talked about players in college football last season. He was Michigan’s do-it-all guy. He was the one player Harbaugh could put anywhere in the lineup without hesitation.

When the Cleveland Browns drafted Peppers, they were hoping he would make an immediate impact.

Transitioning from college football to the NFL is no easy task, but one that Peppers appears to be handling fairly well. And there’s one major reason for that according to the former Michigan standout.

Jim Harbaugh.

That’s a pretty strong statement to make. And one that Harbaugh will surely store in his phone somewhere to show potential recruits hoping to play football at the professional level.

College football analyst Joel Klatt has made the comment that Harbaugh is the best developmental coach there is. And he apparently has a knack for preparing players for the NFL, too.

In just a few weeks, we’ll see if Peppers’ work in training camp leads to early playing time in Cleveland.
