In 2022 alone, Campbell has made solid strides on the gridiron. Marking a total of 51 solo tackles, one forced fumble, and 64 assist tackles for the Hawkeyes.
So it’s no surprise that Campbell has achieved and earned both the Defensive Player of the Year title and the Linebacker of the Year title.
Campbell, after the news came out, provided his thoughts on receiving these honors.
"I just feel so blessed to be in the position to receive this."
