Jack Sanborn got signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in May. He’s ready for a bigger role with the team after getting 13 defensive snaps in Week 8.

Sanborn has played in every game so far for Chicago. His role is only going to increase as long as he keeps playing the way he does. Sanborn has 5 total tackles on the year.

Sanborn talked his growing role with the team per Gabby Hadjuk of ChicagoBears.com:

“A lot goes into it, but it’s definitely an honor right now,” Sanborn said. “But with that being said, you’ve got to do more. You’ve got to keep improving each day, keep getting better each day and that’s where my mind is.”

The Bears are 3-5 with a matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9. Chicago last played against the Dallas Cowboys and lost 49-29.

Kickoff from Solider Field is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
