Jack Sawyer doesn’t believe that Ohio State is an underdog going into its Peach Bowl matchup. This is despite Georgia being favorited by almost a touchdown.

Sawyer stated at Wednesday’s press conference that he believes Ohio State has advantages everywhere. What it will come down to is what team can execute better.

“I think we got advantages across the board on both sides of the ball, and we just gotta go out there and execute,” Sawyer said Wednesday at a Peach Bowl press conference.

Georgia and Ohio State have met once before and that was in 1993 at the Citrus Bowl. The Bulldogs won that game 21-14.

In order to beat Georgia, Sawyer and Ohio State will both need to be at their best. Sawyer has played in 12 games this season and compiled 23 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks.

Whether Ohio State uses the underdog mentality or not, it will be a tough task to knock off the No. 1 team in the country. Kickoff from Atlanta will be on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
