Jack Tuttle will not suit up for Michigan as the Wolverines take on Michigan State in Week 9.
Tuttle is listed as out in Michigan’s final availability report, which was released shortly before kickoff by the Big Ten on Saturday. Here’s a look at Michigan’s availability report, which also confirms the previously-reported news that cornerback Will Johnson will miss this game:
It was previously reported that Davis Warren would be resuming his role as Michigan’s starting quarterback for this contest against the Spartans. With Tuttle set to miss the affair altogether, it makes sense for Sherrone Moore to go back to Michigan’s original starter.
Quarterback Alex Orji could also be available in this game for Michigan in certain situations.
For Warren, this will be his first game action since Week 3. He’s already thrown 6 interceptions so far this season, so ball security will be a major priority as Michigan looks to get back in the win column on Saturday.
Michigan has won back-to-back meetings in this series. The Wolverines are 73-38-5 all-time against the Spartans.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
