Jahan Dotson’s NFL dreams are a reality after getting selected by the Washington Commanders in the 2022 NFL Draft.

On Thursday evening, Dotson became a first-round pick of Washington coming off the board at No. 16 overall. He is the highest Nittany Lions receiver selected since the 1980s and was a part of a historic first-round run of receivers in Las Vegas.

On Sunday, Washington unveiled the jersey numbers for its list of rookies, including Dotson. He will begin his career sporting the No. 1 for the Commanders after wearing No. 5 in Happy Valley.

No matter what he’s wearing, it will be great seeing Dotson running up and down the field on Sundays this fall. Now, he’ll try and provide the perfect complement to Washington’s offense alongside former Ohio State star and budding superstar WR Terry McLaurin.

Hopefully, a strong rookie season awaits Dotson in the single digit.
