Jake Moody has been a clutch and vital contributor for Michigan all season long. In Saturday’s comeback win over Illinois, Moody drilled 4 field goals — including 3 in the 4th quarter — to help the Wolverines stay undefeated.

After the performance, Moody is now 25-for-30 (83.3%) on his field goal tries in 2022. He’s also converted all 47 PAT kicks for 122 points for the Wolverines this season. Moody now has a new career-high for made field goals in a season and is just 3 points away from his career-high 125 points during the 2021 season.

His season numbers are not the only impressive numbers for Moody. With his game-winning kick against Illinois, Moody has etched his name atop Michigan’s all-time record books.

Moody’s game-winner gave him 65 made field goals as a Wolverine, the most in program history. He surpasses the 64 made field goals by Garrett Rivas from 2003-06.

As for the program record in points, Moody still trails Rivas but has a shot to reach the record down the stretch. Rivas holds the program record with 354 points while Moody currently sits at 330.
