Penn State kicker Jake Pinegar announced Saturday that he would be forgoing his final year of eligibility at Penn State and entering the NFL Draft.

Pinegar has made 49 of his 67 field goals attempted across his career, nailing 12 of 16 this past season. He’s 195 of 202 on extra point attempts across his career.
Pinegar is 2 of 3 on field goals over 50 yards, but struggled from 30-39 yards across his career, hitting 14 of 21. Naturally, he struggled more with 40-49 yard field goals, hitting 14 of 23 across his career. He was, however, 6 of 7 from longer than 40 yards this past season.
There are a few options to replace Pinegar next season, but the distinction will likely fall to returning veteran Sander Sahaydak. Another option is walk-on Alex Felkins.
