James Brown, 4-star C via class of 2024, sets official visits to 2 B1G programs

James Brown is one of the top center prospects for college basketball via the 2024 recruiting class. Brown has also set his list of official visits for the fall with a pair of B1G programs on the list.
According to Jake Weingarten with Stockrisers, Brown has 4 official visits planned for the fall. Those stops include Michigan State on Oct. 7 and Illinois on Nov. 4.
Brown will also visit UNC on Oct. 14 and Notre Dame on Oct. 21.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Brown is a 4-star prospect and the No. 6 center nationally for the class of 2024. The 6-foot-9 and 210 lb. prospect is also the top player out of Illinois and the No. 27 player nationally for the cycle.
We’ll see if Tom Izzo or Brad Underwood can land a commitment as Brown’s recruitment takes shape.
