No. 22 Penn State has defeated Auburn 41-12 on the road and for the second consecutive season in a row, but head coach James Franklin has said he has had enough with B1G vs. SEC matchups involving Penn State.
Asked if he would like to see more such games for Penn State, Franklin was blunt – and brief – in his response.

“Overall, there hasn’t been too many Big Ten teams to come on the road and get a win in the SEC, so we’re very proud of that.”

Last season, Penn State defeated Auburn at home 28-20 in a White Out event. It was one of the more physical games that Penn State played all season. Auburn outgained Penn State in rushing yards accounted for that game 182 to 84.
On Saturday, Penn State outgained Auburn in rushing yards accounted for 245 to 119. The defense of Penn State also forced 4 turnovers from Auburn.
Coach Franklin is 2-3 versus an SEC team as the head coach of Penn State. All three of the losses have come in postseason bowl games. The only two wins have come against Auburn.
