Penn State lost to No. 5 Ohio State in the Shoe 33-24 on Saturday night. The Nittany Lions are now 5-3 on the season, and 2-3 in B1G play.

Penn State has wins over Wisconsin, Ball State, No. 18 Auburn, Villanova and Indiana. Its 3 losses are against No. 9 Iowa, Illinois and No. 5 Ohio State.

The Nittany Lions still have 2 AP Top-25 opponents on the schedule in November. They are vs. No. 6 Michigan and at No. 8 Michigan State at the end of the season.

Although the Nittany Lions have lost the last 3 games, head coach James Franklin is confident that the Nittany Lions will get a win next week.

“We’ve played hard all year long with a challenging schedule…, said Franklin, according to Onward Sports. “We’ll find a way to get a win next week.”

James Franklin has been linked to big time college job openings across the country this season, but Franklin has kept it all about Penn State and the opponent in front of them each week.

Penn State goes on the road to take on Maryland next week in College Park, MD.
