James Franklin had some unfortunate news to share about Penn State WR Parker Washington.  He confirmed the injury status of Washington at Tuesday’s press conference.

Washington missed the win over Rutgers and it looks like he’ll be done for the season. Washington is Penn State’s leading receiver with 611 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns.

“Parker Washington will be done for the season,” said Franklin. “I did have that conversation with him and his mom. Wanted to cover that with them first.”

Other than Washington, Franklin also talked about the status of OL Olu Fashanu and CB Joey Porter Jr. Franklin is going to be playing that by ear it seems.

“We expect him back,” said Franklin. “When that is we’ll see. Same thing with Joey Porter Jr.”

The Nittany Lions finish off the regular season with a home game against Michigan State. That game kicks off from Beaver Stadium at 4 p.m. ET on FS1.
