Touching on a variety of topics, Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin addressed the media on Tuesday in State College.
Set to host Purdue (1-3) on Saturday, the Nittany Lions are catching the Boilermakers at the right time as star sophomore wide receiver Rondale Moore will not play after suffering a left leg injury in the team’s loss to Minnesota on September 28.
Even though this appears to work in Penn State’s favor, Franklin spoke very highly of the Louisville, Kentucky native.
Here are Franklin’s comments on Moore:

A four-star in the 2018 class according to the 247Sports Composite, Moore was the No. 1 player in the state of Kentucky.
Making an immediate impact, he caught 114 passes for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns as a freshman. Through roughly three-and-a-half games in 2019, Moore had posted 29 receptions for 387 yards and two scores.
The Boilermakers will also be without redshirt senior quarterback Elijah Sindelar (clavicle) on Saturday (12:00PM ET, ESPN).
