James Franklin has played against Michigan at Ann Arbor before and knows how crazy it can get for opposing teams. The Athletic’s Audrey Snyder posted his comments about going there to play the Wolverines again.
Penn State won 27-17 at Michigan the last time it played there in 2020. Franklin knows it will be tough matchup even after the Wolverines lost the likes of David Ojabo and Aidan Hutchinson to the NFL.
Franklin stated that the Nittany Lions are going to have to battle Michigan’s scheme and the atmosphere at Michigan Stadium as well.
“For them to be able to pressure and sack the quarterback after losing what they did (last year) is impressive,” said Franklin. “We’re gonna have to deal with their scheme and the venue.”

Hutchinson and Ojabo accounted for a huge portion of the team’s sacks last season with 25 combined.
No. 10 Penn State will be traveling to Ann Arbor to face No. 5 Michigan on Saturday.
