James Franklin trolls Penn State fans with hilarious tweet about 2023 recruiting cycle

Do you remember the 21st night of September?
James Franklin sure does.
The Penn State coach went on Twitter Wednesday afternoon and posted a tweet that read “Here’s our top 2023 recruit list. Please update before AM staff meeting” with a shortened link.
When fans clicked the link, they saw something they’ll never forget — especially in September.

Yes. He tweeted the video of Earth, Wind & Fire’s timeless classic “September” to celebrate the first day of the month. Be honest. Who actually expected to see a recruiting list?
It’s a big week for Penn State, who will raise the curtain on the 2021 season this weekend at Wisconsin. Kick off is at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
As for Franklin, it sure doesn’t sound like he’s too worried about the game since he’s on Twitter trolling fans.
We should probably be prepared to call Billie Joe Armstrong to wake him up when September ends, though.
